Types of peptic ulcer

Treatment of peptic ulcer के बारे में जानने के लिए, हमें पहले peptic ulcer types को देखना होगा।
Peptic ulcer -- 2 प्रकार के होते हैं, पहला जो helicobacter infection से related है और दूसरा peptic ulcer जो non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs से related है या फिर आप जो pain killer ले रहे है उनसे related है। इन दोनो तरह के peptic ulcer में आपको treatment of peptic ulcer के लिए उन दवाइयों की ज़रूरत पड़ती है जो acid को suppress करती हैं और acid suppressing medicine की category में आती है।

Helicobacter से हुए peptic ulcer का इलाज
अगर आपको helicobacter related peptic ulcer है तो treatment of peptic ulcer के लिए आपको triple therapy देनी पड़ेगी । इसमें doctors 2 antibiotics का इस्तेमाल करते हैं जैसे की amoxicillin and clarithromycin और इनके साथ में proton pump inhibitor का इस्तेमाल करते हैं जिससे आपका जो acid है उसको suppress किया जा सके। science का ऐसा मानना है कि जब acid को suppress किया जाता है और साथ में दोनो antibiotics use किए जाते हैं तो आपका ulcer heal होने के 85%-90% तक chances होते हैं।

Pain killer की दवाई से हुए stomach ulcer का इलाज
अगर आपका ulcer side effects of pain killer की वजह से या फिर non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID) की वजह से hote है तो आपको सबसे पहले अपनी pain killer को बंद करना है और इसके अलावा आपको acid suppressing medicines लेनी है। Over the period of time जब आपका acid suppress हो जाता है तो आपका treatment of peptic ulcer काम करने लगती हैं।

कभी ऐसी situation भी आती है की painkiller किसी reason की वजह से stop नहीं किया जा सकता है तो इस condition में आपको treatment of peptic ulcer के लिएकोई PPI इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए।

Operation for ulcer की ज़रूरत कब पड़ती है?
कुछ ऐसे certain areas होते हैं जहाँ peptic ulcer की surgery या operation की ज़रूरत पड़ती है। अगर patient को blood vomit होती हैं और endoscopy से doctor ulcer से हो रही bleeding को बंद करने की कोशिश करते हैं पर success नहीं हो पाते या फिर अगर patient के deudonal में छेद हो जाए तो इन cases में operation for stomach ulcer ki ज़रूरत पड़ती है। अगर आपको कोई complicated duodenal ulcer या peptic ulcer है जिसकी वजह से रास्ता बंद हो रहा है तो भी आपको operation की ज़रूरत पड़ती है।

Gastric अल्सर हमेशा risky होता है, इसीलिए जब भी gastric ulcer होता है तो biopsy ज़रूर की जाती है। peptic ulcer का treatment pain killer के avoidance और helicobacter treatment से easy हो जाता है।
