We had an amazing innovation hackathon with General Electric Ghana Volunteers and children from the Nima Cluster of Schools. They where tasked to use big data to gather data on dumsor and suggest ways of using this data to solve dumsor. All the teams had brilliant ideas!! They all learnt to code for the first time. It was a fun session and the children did amazing presentations, websites and won amazing prizes. They were also sponsored by General Electric Ghana to have free coding classes at Soronko academy.
