NAR has SETTLED all of its pending lawsuits with a record $418M payout. It calls for an outright ban on the "participation rule" (cooperating compensation) which will effectively eliminate buyer agency. Unless you have the means to pay for a buyer agent, you will no longer have proper representation. This is a sad day for the real estate industry - one that we definitely saw coming on this channel - but sad nonetheless.
