I meant to say this in the video, but forgot..
The reason I mentioned @hankooktire_global so many times in this video, and tagged them here in this description, was not to try to get them to pay me for a set of tires, or give me anything for free. I've already long since purchased new tires and have no problem with that. I'm not trying to get anything out of #hankook. The reason I called them out so deliberately was to make them AWARE of this problem, and hopefully get them to take some action and step up the quality of the tires they are selling to RV manufactures. An RV is by far one of the most dangerous vehicles to be in in the case of an accident, and they are almost always carrying families when traveling down the road. So to have unsafe tires on a top heavy and unstable vehicle, that has absolutlety no crash protection for the familes riding inside, is something that needs to be addresed, and I have no problem being the one who makes some noise to get the manufactureres attention.
Those tires are date coded march of 2020, meaning they were dead on 4 years old at the time this was filmed, and have 11,000 miles on them. Even though we live in an area that gets lots of sunshine, the fact that the inside tires were doing the same thing means that the sun was not a factor. Especially since none of the other approximately 80 tires (I have a lot of vehicles) sitting in the same yard have had an issue with the sun.
Hopefully Hankook takes a hard look into this to prevent accidents, injuries, or worse due to the quality of tires they are putting on Motorhomes.
