What is the Talmud and why do some people think it’s satanic? The first person to make up this lie was a vengeful excommunicated Jew who converted to Catholicism. Over the centuries this lie has been perpetuated in places like Johannes Eisenmenger’s distorted book “Judaism Unmasked,” and by literary icon and notable antisemite, Alice Walker.
