The Swedish carmaker launches its new "Recharge" badged SUV, but how does it drive in the real world?

NOTE: The copy and Value For Money score have been revised since the original publication of this review to reflect a recent change in specification. Volvo Car Australia has now added a panoramic sunroof and Harman Kardon audio system to the XC40 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid's standard specification. They were previously part of a $3000 option pack. Incidentally or not, CarAdvice's initial feedback to the company had suggested these features be standard to help close the price/value gap to the regular T5 R-Design.
