Simplifying my life has been a process for me. I can remember feeling frustrated when I would share with people that I felt burned out and exhausted and didn't know why. Then receiving the advice to "just relax." Until one day I picked up a book about minimalism and I decided that maybe contentment was a better way. Actually shifting my perspective by decluttering all the excess from our home in life. It's something unexplainable but these are the practical actionable ways that I have slowed down my life that are not "just rest and relax."
