There is one part of the UK that has enjoyed some gains from brexit. Northern Ireland continues to show improved exports as a result of its unique position to be able to export to both Britain and the EU single market without trade barriers.This is a worryying prospect for brexiteers because it highlights just how much of a benefit remaining in the single market is.
