Held at Lake Rotoiti, it's the final training camp for the Aotearoa para waka ama team who are preparing for the IVF International World Championships being held in London. The crew has a mixed level of experience from three months to twenty years. Led by Corrina Gage, one of New Zealand’s top waka ama coaches, the team goals are clear- they want to prove themselves on the international stage. For coach Corrina, the campaign is a chance to advance the team to an elite level and increase the visibility of para-athletes for the international waka ama community. With the competition just weeks away, will the team be able to come together to paddle for gold?
