Week 18 update of my WealthSimple Trade Challenge where I aim to turn $1000 into $100,000 through smart Canadian investing and saving money like crazy. In this video I recap the past week and how my small account is doing, what my goals are for the week ahead and what stocks are on my watchlist. The stock market had a pretty decent week with both the US and Canadian markets up around 0.5% on the week. Meme stocks like GameStop and AMC took off. I'll go over my plan for the week ahead and which new stocks I'm aiming to add to my portfolio. I'll also cover how my dividend tracking is doing and how my passive income from dividend stocks is adding up over time!
