I’m finding it really hard to study these days. Before, especially during the first semester of med school, I felt like there was something pulling me out of bed each morning. I had been waiting for this moment my whole life. To be in medical school, on the way to being a doctor. But lately, that hook that yanked me out of bed? I don’t feel it so much anymore. Now, it feels hard to see the point when every day is just study, class, eat, sleep, study, repeat.

If you’re burnt out, remember this: it’s ok to take a step back, to find solace in solitude or comfort in the company of loved ones. It's ok to do something that brings you joy, something unrelated to your goals and responsibilities. And remember, there’s so much to look forward to.
