Noted writer director #ImtiazAli in a Connect Cine exclusive with #FaridoonShahryar talks at length about his forthcoming film #Chamkila that he he has written as well as directed. Imtiaz talks about the process of researching for Chamkila, a controversial figure in Punjabi music who was infamous for double meaning lyrics but at the same time enjoyed unprecedented success. He talks about the relationship that Chamkila had with his second wife and co singer Amarjot Kaur.

Imtiaz talks about how #DiljitDosanjh completely surrendered himself to the character. He also talks about how Diljit has gone on to become a huge musical star.
