Ephesians 6:18, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Matthew 16:19, And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

God calls us to pray all kinds of prayer. One kind of prayer is the prayer of supplication. In many situations a persistent stance in prayer is required. Our responsibility is to pray earnestly and bind things together as they ought to be. We pray God’s will be enforced in earthly circumstances. We bind off things that are unraveling, we bind up the wounded, and we bind together relationships. There is much more to learn and apply in regard to supplication, but the Holy Spirit will help teach us how to continue to be effective in praying all kinds of prayer.
