We visited El Salvador and tried to o pay for everything using only Bitcoin. We failed. Even though El Salvador legalized Bitcoin as tender, it isn't widely adopted by the population despite the efforts of the government. We also uncover how the government behind this Bitcoin initiative is rising to become an authoritarian and potentially Latin America's next dictatorship.
