While attending the (e)revolution electric bike show in Denver Colorado, I got to connect with Yamaha to learn more about their YDX Moro ebike. This is an all mountain enduro electric mountain bike with 150mm rear and 160mm front air suspension from RockShox. The wheels are 650b size with 27.5" x 2.8" plus size CST Patrol tires. It comes with Magura MT30 hydraulic disc brakes with large 203mm rotors, quad piston calipers in the front. A very nice Shimano SLX derailleur with 11-speed 11/46 tooth cassette. It uses the powerful and reliable Yamaha PW-X2 mid-drive motor, offering 80nm of torque, and the standard 500 watt hour battery pack that runs at 36 volts. All Yamaha electric bikes also come with a three year frame, motor, and battery warranty.
