Imidacloprid 2F is a flowable insecticide concentrate specialized for turf and ornamental pest control. Just dilute the labeled amount of Imidacloprid 2F with water and apply over your lawn, over ornamental plants, or as a soil drench to control a variety of pests including cutworms, aphids, mealybugs, and other turf or ornamental pests.

Before using any pesticides, we recommend you wear your proper personal protective equipment or PPE. And remember to keep children and pets away from treated areas until the application has completely dried.

Imidacloprid 2F is a flowable insecticide that needs to be mixed with water before it’s applied. For general lawn or soil drench treatments, you’ll apply the product at a rate of 0.46 to 0.6 fluid ounces over 1,000 square feet of treatment area. We recommend you use the 20-gallon hose-end sprayer since its high volume output is perfect for applying product to the roots of plants.

To treat lawns, simply broadcast all of your product evenly throughout the entire treatment area. As you spray, keep an eye on the reservoir to make sure you don’t run out of product too soon. Once you’ve distributed the solution, water your lawn with about half an inch of water to further drive the product down the turf’s root zone.

To apply as a foliar spray for shrubs, trees, and other ornamental plants, prepare a solution with the labeled mix rate of 1.5 fluid ounces of product per 100 gallons of water. Spray onto all desired plants just until leaves are dripping wet.

To apply as a soil drench application for shrubs, use a mix rate of 0.1 to 0.2 fluid ounces of product per foot of shrub height. For trees, you’ll use 0.1 to 0.4 fluid ounces per inch of trunk diameter at breast height. Apply your solution uniformly around the base of the plant with at least 10 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet.
