Sega is the king of retro tech and the Sega cd was the first console I know of that had a built in cd player. Now I never knew anybody that owned one as a kid because they were so expensive and most games didn’t capitalize on the hardware’s full capabilities but if you were playing your favourite albums on your Sega console in the 90s you were a boss!
