You're messing with the wrong guy!
There's no doubt that Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is THE Thanksgiving movie. This classic odd couple travel story with Steve Martin and John Candy gives us awkward exchanges, uncomfortable scenarios, and laughable characters -- thank you, John Hughes! But there's a special, emotional moment toward the end at a certain filming location in the Windy City itself that leaves us with all gooey holiday feelings.
Director Dave Salvi goes on an afternoon treasure hunt for that iconic scene in Chicago. And the feels are definitely all there!

What if your favorite movie could come back to life? It does in Beyond the Backlot.
As kids of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, we have fond memories of watching our favorite films over and over. Thanks to theaters and VHS tapes, these movies aren't just blockbusters from the past - they're part of our childhood.
Beyond the Backlot taps into our hunger for nostalgia by visiting the current day locations of our favorite films.
