NOT a paid promotion - my honest thoughts of the Fi collars I bought with my own money. Today we decided to do something a bit different and talk dog stuff - I wanted to take a bit of time and give a review of my experiences with using two Fi dog collars - originally I bought one for Sharkey when he was a puppy, and have liked it so much I have a second one now for Gwen.

They aren't perfect - we'll touch on a major con here, and that is the Fi unit is the weak point of the collar since it's plastic. For big strong dogs, that poses an issue using this as a primary collar. BUT, I learned that I prefer not having a GPS unit as a primary lead attachment point. So though Sharkey did break his, which I talk about in this video, I still bought Gwen's after that, and enjoy both of them still today.
