The Brassie is a well known fly, and has been a staple in many nymph fisherman's box. It can mimic an annelid, and even some other types of sub surface bugs. The problem when tying them so small, is that the wire will be tough to tie perfectly without that higher spine in the center. This method solves that issue and also makes tying this fly much quicker.

Here are the materials I used to tie this fly.
Hook: Lightning Strike SE7 in size 24 - http://www.theflyfishing-store.com/li...
Wire: Small Ultra Wire in red - http://amzn.to/2ydvE78
Thread: Veevus 16/0 in black - http://www.jsflyfishing.com/veevus-th...
Dubbing: Super-Fine Dubbing in Black - http://amzn.to/2iKoTCW
Adhesive: Solarez "Bone Dry" UV curing resin - http://solarez.com/products/fly-tie-u...

If you want to buy this pattern tied by me, I am selling them on eBay in 12 packs. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202214707729
