Deyja means "to die" in Icelandic. This song is about a symbolic death to be reborn, sometimes darkness is necessary, it is well known that in a lot of cases a shaman reach that role because he went through very dark moments and then reborn as a healer , a shaman.
In the video it is represented by a modern man who is tired of a lifeless city and he feels the calling of a shaman...then the journey begins.
