Christmas feast: the punishment due! What a way to start the year and the diet following a catastrophically glutenous Christmas! The initial pain gave way to euphoric optimism followed by another brief moment of sheer agony before finally being emotionally overcome and reduced to tears (well, almost.....it might have been the wind!). A wonderful walk which marks the end of my stint going over Kirkstone Pass to begin the walks. Which does feel a bit sad actually!
