This session on Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer grants is aimed at entrepreneurs seeking funding. A panel of grant recipients and funding specialists will discuss the federal funds, how they differs from and can be used with venture capital, and how Vermont entrepreneurs have used the grants to boost technology development and build successful businesses. Panelists include Steve Arms, founder of Microstrain, Jack Glaser, president of MBF Bioscience and Cairn Cross, cofounder and managing director of FreshTracks Capital.
