Big shout out to Dennis Coffey for making really great videos showing step by step instructions on how to replace the belt on these lawn mowers. He was also very helpful in realizing the drive tensioner pulley was the one I needed to replace.
Shout out to Mosley Outdoor here in Florence SC. They were also very helpful in getting the parts I needed. The belt was $34 and the pulley was $16. So for $50 and some sweat equity this is fixed, much cheaper than taking it to someone. If you have some mechanical DIY ability, you can do this too. I would recommend watching Dennis Coffey's videos first.
