Highway 3037 aka Doi Wawi Road is a super scenic mountain road, one from the collection of Thailand's most exciting motorcycling routes. What used to be a partially dirt road in the not-so-distant past, has been reconstructed and is absolutely spectacular! Imagine having breakfast in Doi Mae Salong, then descending down fantastic Route 1130, hitting Wawi 3037 road, and ending up at magnificent Doi Chang 5047 road all in one go and within a few hours. Route 3037 hardly has any traffic, the views and twisties towards Wawi Village are the rider's dream. The Wawi itself is a quiet village, with a single 7-11 store and 2-pump gas station dispensing diesel and RON95 gasohol. The entire area is surrounded by tea and coffee plantations.
