If you want to upgrade your Jeep's look and feel by installing larger tires on it, this is the easiest way to get your speedometer and shift points recalibrated without having to go to the dealer.

Using the Z-Automotive TaZer JL, you can easily calibrate your speedometer for larger tires.
Step-by-step process:
1. Make sure the TaZer JL is updated with the latest firmware
2. Easily install the "plug and play" TaZer JL into the Jeep's Security Gateway Plugs
3. Marry the TaZer JL to your vehicle using the TaZer menu (vehicle on RUN, but ignition not on)
4. Fill the Tires to the recommended PSI found on the Tire
5. Measure your tire using a tape measure or yard stick for best results
6. Input that measurement into your TaZer's Tire Size section, which is found under the perf? (performance) menu
7. Do a full reboot and two sleep cycles to solidify that setting
8. Go on a 20 minute drive (preferably highway) to ensure that the TPMS and the shift points fully recalibrate

Note for Tire sizing and calibration of the speedometer:
If it’s reading lower than actual speed, raise the tire size setting.
If it’s reading higher than lower the tire size.

If you are performing any vehicle setting changes (vehicle in RUN but ignition not on) using the TaZer Programmer, such as changing the Tire Size or Gear Ratios, it is critical to perform the full reboot and two sleep cycles. Missing this step may cause settings to not save, or you
may find that the dash doesn’t shut down, which can result in a dead battery.

If you are performing these changes with your Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator doors removed, you will still be able to perform the reboot and sleep cycles, although the Jeep will take longer to fully go to sleep.
