My entry for »The Oscar Vidding Contest«

The theme wasn't that easy to handle and I have to admit that I really had some problems with it. Showing my own life is something very personal to me because a lot of things happened which weren't that great and to be honest, I had no idea where I should start. So I started thinking about my life and the choices I made. What I did, what happened to me and what happened in my family. I focused on the last five years which were some of the most difficult moments in my life.

I lost so many people (my sister, my grandpa, a few friends of mine deceased) and I never really knew who I am. I felt a little bit left out by my family, my so called "friends" at this time. I never really felt alive. But suddenly, after I found some REAL friends, everything became so full of light. I found hope, hope in the darkness, found hope in music, friends and in some parts of my family. I've started to enjoy my life, even if I knew that there'll be some more difficult times for me. But, as Sam already said, I am happy with my life for the first time forever.

I really hope that I got the theme right and that you can follow my thoughts and what I really mean. (:
