The arrival of an all-new M car (that's not another SUV) is an occasion. The M4 Competition is a very exciting car that oozes power from every angle. It has the world's most controversial nose, but you don't notice it as much after you spend some time with the car. It doesn't have a quick-shifting twin-clutch gearbox any more, and it's bigger and heavier than before. Has BMW ruined? No. Not by a long shot.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is just how well the electronically-controlled limited-slip differential works. It is the best such diff that I've ever experienced and it is an integral part of what makes the M4 driving experience special (it not only does a great job of putting the power down, but it also makes sliding the car quite controllable and fun), second only to the engine that simply dominates the driving experience.
