In this video I show you how to make an embed message on Discord. Embedded messages are used to make aesthetic info channels that make a Discord channel look professional. Additionally, you can use message embeds for any messages you need to post in Discord. This means you can also use them for server updates if you wish.

When you make an embed message on Discord you can add server emojis to enhance the aesthetic of the message. Using server emojis is a great way to make your message your own, and unique to your server.

Additionally, you can mention roles, members and channels in your embed messages. This allows you to direct members to the appropriate places in your server. You can use channel mentions to direct new members to rules or resources that they may need. You may also want to mention your server’s staff role to ensure members know who to go to if there is an issue.

You can use embedded messages in any channel you like. However, they are often used for server rules, server roles, and other essential channels.

The message embeds can be set to appear as if they came from the server. You can do this by using the server name as the sender’s name, and by using the server icon as the sender’s AVI. This will ensure that your Discord server follows a theme and the messages have an official look to them.

Additionally, embed messages can also be edited at any point. However, the message will be labelled as edited. Instead, you can always load the message using the webhook and message URL, then send the message as a new message. This way all of the added server emojis, roles, and mentions all remain the same.

If you’re trying to make aesthetic info channels for your Discord server then it’s a great option to include a heading for your message embed. This can be done by adding heading text in the content box, or by adding a Discord channel header image. Both options help make your message embed look more professional, especially when paired with emojis and symbols of your choice.
