14 Years Update on my SBL DCB Medium Classic Briefcase.

Ive been using this bag regularly especially when traveling abroad or with my family. It's a cabin bag when I travel, its a baby bag when out and about with my family, its grocery bag and a gym bag. Ive travelled in The US, Canada, around Europe, Asia and Australia with it.

I use this and my other SBL and Filson bags in rotation. Each bag will be 1 to 2 months.

I don't baby my bags, but I also don't abuse them. I don't force or speed up the ageing process on the leather. My bag doesn't have unnecessary wrinkles. I see people soak their SBL in water, stomp on them, roll and crush them, etc; I don't do that. I let the leather stretch and mould naturally through regular use or just keep rolled up towels in them while in storage. I don't stack them empty and flat when not in use.

This bag doesnt have Dave Munson's dog Blue wearing a sambrero stamped on it as Blue was still alive when this bag was made. Blue passed in January 2008.

Due to the Covid19 Pandemic, lockdown and travel restrictions, most of my bags are in hibernation the past 15 month at the time this video is posted. Our borders are closed, no one goes in to out other than essential travelers.
