I would highly suggest listening to the sound demos through good quality headphones. The YouTube audio algorithm tends to compress the audio more after uploading. hopefully that will give you an idea of the tone the amplifier can produce Plus I am not using the graphic EQ for consistency until the last sample. it can actually go a lot higher fidelity if I wanted to but most of the time I'm going to sound like a woofer at a gig anyway. The amplifier is very flexible in terms of tone!

Been meaning to do this video for awhile. I installed a full matched octet of EHX 6CA7 Tetrode Power Valves and EHX Low Microphonics Preamp valves. This amp is super rare these days. It is 300W of all tube power!! It has a unique switch mode power supply that eliminates a ton of weight from the amp, specifically the main power transformer. Total weight with its footswitch is only 37lb!

Listening to the DI and mic'ed cab gives an idea of tonality, but the sheer raw power of volume through a full/half stack of speakers is something to behold. It can really move some air! The XLR DI out needed to be modded to have a clean signal post EQ. My goal was to balance out the cab mic signal and DI signal. Still experimenting on mic placement and overall mix.

I apologize for my bass noodling. Hopefully I won't be blocked for copyright on the various riffs! My Rickenbacker strings are the originals from earlier this year so they are not as bright anymore. I'll be changing them soon. All the other basses either have D'Addario Pro Steels or nickel wound La-Bellas on the jazz.

My gain structure changed when I engaged the graphic EQ for the RAY35 playing. My fault for the clipping at the mixer. Minor adjustment I missed.
