I don’t think anyone expected the Loki Disney+ series to end on the big note that it did. Our Tom Hiddleston Loki went with his variant Sylvie to the end of time itself where they met the man behind the curtain. This time the Wizard of Oz was none other than Kang the Conqueror and it turns out that the TVA was created to save the multiverse from himself. Well, alternate versions of himself. Now that Sylvie made the decision to off him for vengeance over how she was treated by the Time Variance Authority, the entire timeline of the MCU has been split into a multiverse of infinite probabilities and unfortunately infinite versions of Kang.

Marvel has been hinting at a Multiverse for a long time with upcoming projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania and What If? All of these projects are set to deal with the concept of the multiverse or with Kang himself. Marvel has also been setting up stories that deal directly with Kang like the Young Avengers and the Fantastic Four. Chances are we will see Jonathan Majors play every version of Kang from Immortus to Iron Lad to the Scarlet Centurion to many many more.

If that’s not enough for you, we know we’ll see more of Kang and company when Loki season two rolls back around some time not soon enough.

So how does Loki change the MCU forever? Let’s explore that together! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from Screen Rant!
