The once-dead Bronco brand is back and for 2021 it now includes two- and four-door midsize Broncos, as well as the compact-size Bronco Sport. Should you buy this SUV? This Bronco is undoubtedly capable as a 4x4, as a serious off-road vehicle, and looks the part of a serious SUV (sport-utility vehicle). It's rugged and rippling with technology designed to make the newest Bronco a serious challenger to other four-by-fours, especially those from Jeep.

Ford, of course, has brought back the Bronco because there is money to be made in the red-hot SUV market. That makes sense. Yet it also stands out as a contradiction of Ford's long-term plan to electrify the automobile -- itself a global trend.
