Hindsight puts the 2003 fire at the Station Nightclub into focus. More than 100 people died after a band’s pyrotechnics caught fire inside the overcrowded nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island. The fire was fueled by flammable foam attached the Station’s walls. More than 20 years later Scripps News walked through the memorial with Gina Russo, a survivor who lost her fiancé in the fire.
