Here is a video that shows a new Voyagers! Brass Omni Construction I am doing to replace the Omni I gave to Voyagers! star Meeno Peluce aka Jeffrey Jones! This will actually be made in Shapeways bronze, a much better color than the very yellow Shapeways brass, and closer to the original (same as Meeno's Omni). The 3d model was updated on Tinkercad in a few areas. The bottom indentation on the body was changed to improve the model. There were some holes around the lights (thin areas) that were filled in on the body, and the body thickness was reduced slightly. The lid portions that connect to the body were updated for more screen accuracy. New custom-made 0.6mm thick dials were laser engraved and have been received from Etsy's (ProjectCustom) Voyagers! Omni design, and I compare these to bronze dials I had made on Shapeways previously. Parts are Adafruit components (speaker, sound board, lithium battery, battery charger, and proximity sensor (which I don't know if I'll use but was interesting nonetheless)).
