Most everyone has had the agonizing experience of showering under the anemic trickle of water resulting from a building's low water pressure. No fun whatsoever.

But can there be such a thing as TOO MUCH water pressure?

If your water lines rumble like freight train or sound as if someone's hitting them with a sledgehammer, whenever you open and shut a faucet or flush the toilet, then it's very likely that you're the victim of excessive incoming water pressure! Aside from the obvious nuisance that high water pressure may cause, the continual shock inflicted upon your pipes and fixtures can quite literally be DAMAGING to your entire plumbing system!

The good news is that there is a solution to help 'ease the pressure' (and the headaches from all that noise!). And that solution is called a called a 'Pressure Reducing Valve' (or PRV for short), which allows you to reduce the incoming building's water pressure to a safe and desired amount.

Today we'll be installing and adjusting a Watts PRV model LF25AUB-Z3…and it's not as complicated as it may sound, although there is a proper way to do it so that it's effective. With the guidance of this video, I'm going to show you how!

Goodbye banging pipes!!!
