In his keynote speech for the 21st Annual Conference on Business & Ethics, Fr. Mike Schmitz talked about the purpose of careers, jobs and daily responsibilities. He shared how we can develop a healthy and holy relationship with work and overcome seeing what we do as either toil or our identity.

About the keynote speaker: Fr. Mike Schmitz is the host of the daily Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year podcasts, which have been downloaded over 700 million times. He is also the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth, as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He attended Saint Paul Seminary and was ordained in 2003. Now, Fr. Mike offers weekly homilies on iTunes and bulldogCatholic.org. He is the author of A World Undone: Finding God when Life Doesn’t Make Sense and How to Make Great Decisions.
