About the keynote speaker: Fr. Mike Schmitz is the host of the daily Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year podcasts, which have been downloaded over 700 million times. He is also the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth, as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He attended Saint Paul Seminary and was ordained in 2003. Now, Fr. Mike offers weekly homilies on iTunes and bulldogCatholic.org. He is the author of A World Undone: Finding God when Life Doesn’t Make Sense and How to Make Great Decisions.
