I've always been a fan of mounting splitters/lips securely, and not using any double sided tape so they can be put on/removed easily. Here's how I mounted a GTS style splitter on my M2C and made it durable enough for the track (seriously, I can completely stand on the splitter and it holds up just fine).

Even though I filmed this with the bumper off, the backing plates, rivnuts, and splitter can be installed with the bumper on the car. It's just a bit more difficult working upside down!
