Retrospec’s Chatham Rev 2 is a simple and straightforward cruiser-style e-bike with a lean price tag. We were pleasantly surprised by its balance of price and performance; see why in this Retrospec Chatham Rev 2 review.

The bike’s MSRP is $900, which is usually below the threshold we consider to be a worthwhile balance of cost and quality. The Chatham Rev 2, however, proved to be a well-put-together e-bike that felt like it was priced a few hundred dollars higher.

One of the features we appreciated the most was its 36V, 350W rear-hub motor. It balanced speed, acceleration, and affordability to provide an easy ride – even up some notably steep hills!

As a cruiser-style e-bike, the Chatham Rev 2 also brings an expected level of comfort along with its ride. Relaxed and ergonomic positioning combines with a big, comfy saddle for an experience that can be enjoyed for hours!
