DINO AT THE BEACH, the new short film from Josh Cox, takes place during late summer off the coast of 1960's New England. Dino just wants to catch a tan on the beach until Sebastian, a stranger, shows up on the island. The two share an amorous afternoon together, each interpreting their encounter differently when it is over.

More about the film:

DINO AT THE BEACH was filmed in just one day. The set comprised of Josh Cox (a "one man" operating crew) and the two actors who had just met each other in real life for the first time while traveling to Cape Cod, Massachusetts where the film was shot. Cox used motion picture film instead of digital to make the film which was a risk as no one knew if the footage would actually return from developing & processing usably. The project was conceived in August 2020 and subsequently shot that following October - the quickest turnaround time from development to principle photography for Cox.

Americana Pictures is an independent entertainment company that develops, produces and distributes queer media.
