In this short Navajo documentary we will get to know the Navajo tribe history, their traditions, Native American wars etc... The Navajo people settled in the American southwest around 1400-1500 AD. They migrated from Alaska and western Canada with the Apache. Both groups of people speak the Athabaskan language.
Initially they were hunter gatherers, farming the land and hunting animals in their region.
Through history they were close to Pueblo tribes, mostly trading and sharing knowledge.
