I bought some paint for my half track, and to try it out I slapped it on my beater V-8 5-speed ZJ. It is not a good paint job by any means, but when you start with a vehicle that looked that bad, its easy to make big improvements.

The color I used is actually not olive drab, though it is pretty close. It is USMC Forest Green, color code 34052. This is a WWII color, so it will be accurate for my older vehicles.
