In this video, we go over the Amex Gold Card after having this credit card for 1 year to answer the question, “is the Amex Gold Card worth it?” Now this credit card is one of the best credit cards in 2022, but you need to make sure that the Amex Gold benefits are going to give you enough value before applying. The American Express Gold is a good credit card for food purchases and comes with useful Uber and dining credits, but this video goes over 4 things that you NEED to know before you consider getting it.

The $120 Uber and $120 dining credits help to offset the $250 annual fee of the Amex Gold, but if you are not already spending money on those things before getting the Amex Gold Card, then it might not be worth it. You also might find yourself waiting until the last minute in certain months to use these credits like I did in December 2021, so its important to be aware of this as well.

In addition to all of this, I also have noticed that I did not use my Gold card exactly as I expected, so I talk about that here in this video as well. The main takeaway should be that you need to do as much research as possible to fully understand the Amex Gold Card before applying, so hopefully this video and some of my other videos below will be helpful!
