While traveling through Vancouver British Columbia Canada, I got to connect with ENVO Drive Systems to learn more about their FLEX series of electric bikes. The one that caught my attention was the FLEX Snowbike, but the underlying frame is used across multiple platforms. You can have it built as a city bike (FLEX Urban), adventure bike (FLEX Overland), cargo bike (FLEX Cargo), trike (FLEX Trike), a larger utility trike, or snow bike as shown here. The frame is an approachable step-thru wave that folds in the middle, and there appear to be multiple colors. It can be specced with a 36v or 48v battery system, one or two batteries, and a 500w or 750w motor! The hub motor is MXUS brand from what I could tell, the derailleur is Shimano Altus, the cassette is 11-36 tooth, and the drive modes can be Class 1, 2, or 3 depending on what kind of ebike you want. I was told that the rear track and front ski can be added to an ENVO FLEX Overland aftermarket, because it bolts on to the suspension fork and the track system fits onto the rear dropout... but not for the trike or urban models. It's a very cool and unique electric bike platform, one of the few that I've ever seen that is partially designed to function like an electric snowmobile! The little snow kart also looked fun, and it appeared to use two hub motors to power the tracks in the rear. Ali explained that it is lots of fun to drive on frozen ice.
