Not so much Bushcraft this time but more hiking. Love doing trips like this and its been years. 15 hours drive up north. A totally desolate area and because there are no trails you are guaranteed to be all alone. Hard to get to. 2 hours on a dirt road the last 70 km. Forecast said sunny and warm, then a day of rain and then sunny and warm again. The "sunny and warm again" never came but instead temps close to freezing and never ending rain and wind. So I had to cut the trip short a day because I carried mostly summer gear. Kinda bummer to haul fishing gear and a drone and never get to use them :). Never reached a lake system I was aiming for. But that is life up north. Unpredictable and sometimes no way to get information from the outside because totally off grid. I didn't even get something on my small radio but static noise. A bit.. uneasy for a southerner like me but also there is charm in this. Im just not used to it. When I got out and saw the weather forecast I'm glad I got out. I will return up north again this year. Thanks for Watching!
