It's already been 6 months since I rescued a white kitten that suddenly wandered into my backyard this spring.
The kitten's name is Shiro. It means "white" in Japanese.
For our family, who had never lived with a cat, living with Shiro was a series of surprises.
This is the first autumn for Shiro, who was probably born in November.
