2023 was a good year for longstanding horror series, we got new entries in the Scream and Insidious series, both of which were well received as well as The Nun 2, but in my opinion, Evil Dead Rise was the Sleeper hit of the year as it took the ENTIRE franchise into a new direction with its setting, cast and retelling of the lore, and maybe I am biased cause Evil Dead (the original) is my favorite horror movie EVER, but it was THE horror movie to see in 2023 that nobody gave much through too, until the reviews came in.

"Join us" (!) as we take a good look into this movie, and all its nods to the OG movies of the series and much much more as i Fan Girl out over this installment.
