From October 3rd to 5th, 2003 it was “planned steam between Saalfeld and Gera”.
03 1010, 03 2204 and 41 1144 provided great steam experiences in front of scheduled regional trains on the beautiful route. The absolute highlights were the coverings of some Regional Express trains, in front of which 03 1010 and 41 1144 were able to let off steam.
