The latest Reserve Bank Quarterly Bulletin shows a marginal improvement in households disposable income at the end of last year. It also shows that debt as a percentage of nominal disposable income decreased slightly to 62.3% in the fourth quarter of 2023 from a revised 62.4% in the third quarter. The bank says the decrease in household debt is due to a slight increase in disposable income.
