This silent film was animated by Sanae Yamamoto (山本早苗)
and was produced by the Japanese ministry of education in 1931.
This film is adapted from "Old Man Goichi" in the Elementary School Japanese Reader Vol. 3, "The Wolf, the Fox, and the Ape", and
"The Two Dogs" in Aesop's Fables.
